South Central College/Mankato Motors
Mankato Motors proudly donated a New 2012 Chevy Cruze to South Central College as part of - "The Cruze Project" One car and three SCC programs come together to provide a real world learning experience. The finished product is a customized vehicle that showcases the college's programs.

Destination Divas
Destination Divas took part in a 2-day relay (approx 200 miles) from Winona to St. Paul. The Divas team was made up of 12 Divas, each running 3 legs of the race. Each leg is approx 3-8 miles in length all varying in difficulty. The Destination Diva group used a Chevy Suburban from Mankato Motors to ride, follow, transfer runners and keep cool and comfortable. Congrats on your 2nd place finish!

Mankato Motors 2nd Annual Red Cross Blood Drive
American Red Cross pulled up the BIG RV and setup shop in front of Mankato Motors for the day on May 20th. This being our 2nd go around, we were very happy with the support and turnout. Everyone that donated received a FREE oil change from Mankato Motors Oil Change Quick Lube.

Eagle Lake Baseball Association
Pat Adams, Chevy Sales Manager and Justin Frauendienst, Internet Sales Manager (both residents of Eagle Lake) donate to help coach/organize and work with area kids from Eagle Lake/Madison Lake and surrounding cities that participate in Eagle Lake Summer Baseball. In addition to coaching, both worked hard at re-cutting the field, up keep of the field and general field maintenance. Eagle Lake Area Baseball starts in May and the kids from t-ball to High School compete on different age levels against area kids from Southern MN teams with games 2x a week and practices all summer long. Mankato Motors Saint Jude Children's Hospital
Dale Schmitt (far right) presented a check to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for $16400 from Mankato Motors Chevy, Nissan, VW. St. Jude was our charity of choice for the month of December. We donated $100 from the sale of every new and used vehicle. 164 vehicles sold equaled a contribution to be proud of.

Mankato Motors Blood Drive
On Monday September 20, 2010 we held a blood drive with the American Red Cross. Every donor received a certificate for a free oil change in our Quick Lube. The event was very successful and we are planning for more in the near future. We had 15 first-time donors and many repeat donors. Mankato Motors Pumpkin Give-Away
We purchased and gave-away two truck loads of pumpkins as a thank you to guests, customers, anyone who wanted a Halloween pumpkin. We filled (2) 2011 Chevy Silverado's and had them available during business hours at the front of our store.

December 3, 2010...Dale presented a check to the assistant manager of Echo Food Shelf live on Z99 this morning for $11,400 representing $100 for every new and used vehicle sold in the month of November. We are proud to give back to the community.
