  • This is a great upgrade from my 2012 Equinox

The Equinox handles better then my 2012 Equinox and it looks better too. I love the equipment that came with the included package like heated seats and panoramic roof and dual climate controls up front. The back up warning system and blind spot warnings are excellent. The 2.0 liter turbo charge has nice pick up on the highway. The ride is comfortable and Chevy did a great job on the redesign.

Premium fuel recommended per owners manual and decal inside gas door. The government web site stated tested as premium. From what I could tell by reviewing an article or two the vehicle probably runs well but performance will be slightly less(prob includes mileage)with reg..The dealer never mentioned this to me nor did another dealer to a relative that bought the 2.0.Manual says use premium if it knocks.I had a chance to back out of our deal but didnt because this a low mileage vehicle for us-love the car otherwise.
  • Fun 4000 miles

Ive driven 4000 miles in Iowa with much of it on snow and ice. The AWD works very well. I put 190000 miles on a 2007 Equinox AWD and really enjoyed. I think that the current model is more fun to drive, has all of the safety and technology that you could hope for AND Ive been averaging 31.4 mpg on the highway! It is comfortable for a small SUV. I drove the Ford Escape, Honda and Toyota Rav4. They are all excellent vehicles. Im really happy with the Equinox though - it just seems to do everything a little better for me. Im looking forward to the next 180000 miles!
